Overheated

This was created as a contest entry into a monthly animation contest (called AnimWatch). The website admin (Steve Ogden) gave us an audio sample, and we animated something to go with it. In this one, the audio says "I've been standing here for 50 years", so I thought about something that was 50 years old, and a '57 Chevy was the first thing I thought of. So I created this guy to use, and it ended up using the same stylization as Pixar's "Cars", although originally, I had designed the headlights to be the eyes, but it just didn't look right.
