New Front Office
When I lived in Broken Arrow, I had a house that had a front porch that I rarely used. So I decided to do some construction, and turn it into a little front room/office. My brother came up to help me with some of the framing and electrical, as well as some drywall and HVAC help from some good friends of mine, but overall, I did most of this with my own two hands.
Here's the mockup I submitted to the HOA so that I could get approval to start construction

Got the OSB on there, and started with the moisture barrier. Also started with the first few layers of brick, just to see how difficult it would be. It wasn't too bad.

But on to the inside! Had to patch a bit of the original interior wall where the windows came from

Hanging sheetrock is not easy. That stuff gets heavy really fast.
Got the drywall all hung and mudded the screws and joints.
Couple of friends of mine did me a favor and finished the mudding and texturing for me, then I painted it to match the rest of the house.
Got some indoor/outdoor carpet, because it was cheap and easy

All done and passed inspection!
Finished the flowerbed and planted some nice azaleas. Project completed!
